Dr. Prasanta Jyoti Goutam

Dr. Prasanta Jyoti Goutam is currently serving as the Controller of Examinations at Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Guwahati and B.Sc. in Chemistry from Dibrugarh University. With extensive academic, administrative and research experience, he has previously served in key leadership roles including Associate Dean, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Examination Coordinator at The Assam Kaziranga University as well as faculty and innovation leadership positions at IIIT Nuzvid (RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh. A member of the American Chemical Society, his academic expertise spans Materials Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, with research interests in nanocomposite materials, metallo-supramolecular polymers, green nanoparticle synthesis, and chemical sensors. He has actively contributed to higher education through research guidance, expert committee roles, invited lectures, and national and international academic engagements.
